Welcome to TrackNTrace (“App”), operated by Charles Technologies (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using this App, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

TrackNTrace is designed to help users verify whether a medicine pack matches manufacturer-issued records by scanning the QR code printed on the medicine package.

The App provides informational verification only and does not guarantee:

• The quality, safety, or effectiveness of the medicine
• Proper storage, handling, or transportation of the medicine
• Medical suitability for any individual

The App does not replace professional medical advice. Users are advised to consult a qualified healthcare professional before consuming any medicine.

2. User Eligibility

• The App is intended for general public use
• Users below 18 years of age should use the App under parental or guardian supervision
• No account registration or login is required to use the App

3. Permissions Used

TrackNTrace requests only the minimum permissions required for its core functionality:

a) Camera Access

• Used solely for scanning QR codes printed on medicine packs
• The camera is not used to record videos, capture photos, or collect biometric information

b) Device Identifier (Anonymous)

An anonymous device identifier is generated to:

• Prevent misuse and excessive scanning
• Detect duplicate or suspicious scan activity

This identifier:

• Does not contain personal information
• Cannot be used to identify an individual user
• Is reset when the App is uninstalled and reinstalled

❗ The App does not access contacts, location, microphone, storage, messages, or any other device data.

4. Data Collection & Privacy

• No personal information such as name, phone number, email address, or precise location is collected
• No login or account creation is required
• Scan history is stored locally on the user’s device only based on Device ID
• We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties

5. Acceptable Use

By using TrackNTrace, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Use the App to verify medicines for personal or professional reference
• Avoid misuse, tampering, reverse engineering, or attempting to disrupt the App’s functionality

You must not:

• Manipulate scan results
• Use automated scripts or tools to generate scans
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive reports

6. Scan Results Disclaimer

Scan results are generated based on:

• Manufacturer-provided data
• System verification checks and scan patterns available at the time of scanning

Results should not be interpreted as legal, regulatory, or medical conclusions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not responsible for health outcomes resulting from medicine usage
• We are not liable for inaccuracies caused by damaged QR codes, incomplete manufacturer data, offline scans, or user misuse
• Use of the App is entirely at the user’s discretion and risk

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and software associated with TrackNTrace are the property of Charles Technologies, unless otherwise stated.

No part of the App may be copied, reproduced, modified, or distributed without prior written permission.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

• Changes will become effective immediately upon being published within the App or on the official website.
• Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App, without prior notice, if misuse, abuse, or security threats are detected.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
