End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”, “You”) and Charles Technologies (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) governing your use of the TrackNTrace mobile application (“App”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. License Grant

Charles Technologies grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App solely for your personal or professional informational use, in accordance with this Agreement.

This license does not grant you ownership of the App.

2. Purpose of the App

TrackNTrace is intended to help users verify whether a medicine pack matches manufacturer-issued records by scanning a QR code printed on the medicine package.

The App:

• Provides informational verification only
• Does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Does not guarantee medicine quality, safety, or effectiveness

Users should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before consuming any medicine.

3. Restrictions on Use

You agree that you shall not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or reverse engineer the App
• Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to manipulate scan results or system behavior
• Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to generate scans
• Interfere with the security or performance of the App

Any unauthorized use may result in termination of this license.

4. Permissions & Device Access

The App uses only the following permissions:

a) Camera Access

• Used solely to scan QR codes on medicine packs
• No photos or videos are captured, stored, or transmitted

b) Anonymous Device Identifier

• Used to prevent misuse and detect duplicate scans
• Does not identify you personally
• Automatically resets upon app uninstall and reinstall

The App does not access contacts, location, microphone, files, messages, or any other device data.

5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights, remain with Charles Technologies.

You may not remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices contained in the App.

6. Updates & Modifications

Charles Technologies may, at its discretion:

• Update, modify, or enhance the App
• Add or remove features
• Temporarily or permanently discontinue the App

Such changes may occur without prior notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of verification results

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fully accurate at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charles Technologies shall not be liable for:

• Any health outcomes resulting from medicine consumption
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Errors caused by damaged QR codes, incomplete manufacturer data, offline scans, or misuse

Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without notice, if:

• You violate this Agreement
• Misuse, abuse, or security threats are detected

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Third-Party Stores

If you downloaded the App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

• This Agreement is between you and Charles Technologies, not the platform provider
• Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content
• Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support

12. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this EULA at any time.

• Updated versions will be made available within the App or on the official website.
• Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
